Congratulations to the 2025 Grand Prize Winner – I Luv U!
The Romans VIII Film Festival is proud to announce that I Luv U has been awarded the 2025 Grand Prize Award, recognizing its powerful storytelling, exceptional performances, and social impact.
Written and directed by Isaac Barker, I Luv U is a gripping short film that courageously explores the devastating effects of sextortion, delivering a message that resonates deeply in today’s digital world. With remarkable sensitivity and cinematic strength, the film brings light to a subject too often left in the shadows.
We were honored to welcome Tanya Price of Queen Tutt Productions, who traveled from Utah to accept the awards on behalf of the film. Her presence was a true highlight of this year’s festival.
The film swept several major categories, including:
Best Short Film
Best Actor: Chris Edward Garcia
Best Actress: Tanya Price
Best Director: Isaac Barker
From its emotional depth to its bold direction, I Luv U represents the heart of what Romans VIII stands for—faith-driven storytelling, social awareness, and cinematic excellence.
To the entire I Luv U team: Congratulations! Your courage and artistry have left a lasting impact, and we are proud to recognize your film as this year’s standout project.
Stay tuned for interviews, behind-the-scenes moments, and more from the 2025 Romans VIII Film Festival.
